Petitions filed from this date lost grandfathering protection: if Congress lets the programme lapse, pending files are no longer shielded.
Minimums are reset for inflation: the $800,000 TEA level is projected to rise to about $900,000–$937,500, and $1,050,000 to about $1.2 million. DHS confirms the final figures.
The regional-center programme’s current authorisation ends; Congress must renew it. A proposed $1.4 million tier is not law.
