Why investors choose it

5 benefits of St Lucia citizenship

1

The bond alternative

Unique in the region: a non-interest-bearing government bond, refundable in full after 5 years — citizenship with your principal preserved.

2

Global mobility

145+ destinations visa-free or visa-on-arrival, including the Schengen states, the UK, Singapore and Hong Kong.

3

US access

St Lucia citizens routinely obtain the 10-year US B-1/B-2 visitor visa for business, tourism and medical travel.

4

Tax optimisation

No tax on foreign income, dividends or capital gains for non-resident citizens — citizenship creates no tax liability by itself.

5

No visit required

The entire process — interview included — runs remotely; the islands wait for you, not the other way round.

Procedure

Five steps to the passport

Entirely remote, with the investment due only after approval.

1

Preliminary check 1 day

Our compliance side screens you against the same databases the CIU uses — confidentially, on a passport copy alone.

2

Document preparation 2–4 weeks

Lawyers assemble the file, complete every government form, and submit to the Citizenship by Investment Unit.

3

Due Diligence & processing 3–5 months

The CIU vets every family member over 16; a mandatory interview is conducted online.

4

Approval & investment 2–4 weeks

On approval — and only then — you fulfil the investment: the NEF contribution, the bond subscription, or the property completion.

5

Passport 2–4 weeks

The naturalisation certificate and passport are issued and couriered — no travel to St Lucia required.

FAQ

About St Lucia citizenship

How does the bond option work? +

You subscribe to a $300,000 non-interest-bearing government bond, hold it 5 years, and redeem the full principal. Add the $50,000 administrative fee and government charges, and your net cost of citizenship is a fraction of a donation — if you can park the capital.

Can I really get a 10-year US visa? +

St Lucia passport holders routinely qualify for the 10-year B-1/B-2 visitor visa — business meetings, tourism, family visits and medical care, without re-applying every trip. (It is a visitor visa: no US residence or work rights.)

Do I ever need to visit St Lucia? +

No — the process, interview included, is entirely remote.

Is dual citizenship allowed? +

Yes — St Lucia places no restrictions on other passports, and citizenship is hereditary.
